Upon arrival, you will board Jack Tran’s boat and embark on a scenic cruise along the tranquil Cửa Đại River, where the beauty of the landscape unfolds around you.
As you glide through the waters, prepare to be captivated by a demonstration of Thúng Chai basket boats by Jack Tran’s skilled crew. You will have the opportunity to learn the art of paddling these unique Vietnamese bamboo boats, engaging in a spirited basket boat race that adds an element of fun to your exploration of the palm coconut canals, which hold stories of the past and the extreme conditions faced by soldiers during the war.
Your experience continues as you join local fishermen on the river, gaining hands-on experience in cast net fishing. Immerse yourself in the cultural richness of the area as you enjoy traditional folk music, including the enchanting sounds of Bả Trạo singing, while rowing alongside the fishermen. The adventure leads you to an islet where you can participate in big net fishing, further connecting you with the local way of life.
