Fansipan Pass & Heaven Gate Discovery
Begin your journey by meeting your knowledgeable guide and driver for a leisurely ascent into the breathtaking scenery of Fansipan Mountain. Just a short distance from the town, you will encounter expansive rose flower farms and chayote fields, all beautifully nestled under bamboo canopies. Your first stop will be at the magnificent Silver Waterfall, where the cascading waters create a serene atmosphere, perfect for capturing memorable photographs.
Continuing along the winding road to Heaven Gate and Tram Ton Pass, you will reach an impressive altitude of 2,047 meters above sea level, making this the highest mountain pass in Vietnam. Here, you can take a leisurely stroll around this stunning area, which straddles both sides of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. This vantage point offers unparalleled views of the Fansipan Mountain Range, where the weather can dramatically differ from one side to the other. On many days, you may find the Sapa side shrouded in mist, while the opposite side basks in bright sunshine.
As you begin your descent from Heaven Gate, a delightful visit to the lush farmlands of O Quy Ho awaits. This fertile area is renowned for its variety of vegetables, vibrant flowers, fruit trees, and even medicinal plants, contributing to the unusually green landscape of Sapa. After soaking in the beauty of this region, you will be transferred back to Sapa, either to your hotel or another location of your choice.
