Dambri Waterfalls & Highlands Discovery

Embark on a captivating journey to Dambri and Dasara waterfalls, located 160 km from Mui Ne at an impressive altitude of 1,475 meters. Surrounded by dense forests, these waterfalls are celebrated as some of the most beautiful in Vietnam, making them a must-visit destination. The scenic route to the waterfalls branches east of Bao Loc, leading you through rolling countryside blanketed with vibrant coffee, tea, and pineapple plantations.

Upon arrival, your adventure begins with a visit to the cascading waters of Dasara. Following this, we will ascend to witness the majestic Dambri waterfall, renowned for its grandeur and often regarded as the highest in the province. Here, the clear, cold waters tumble off the Central Highlands mountains, cascading dramatically over a rocky cliff and plunging 60 meters into a large pool below. The water then meanders down the valley, forming gentle terraced cascades, all while being framed by towering tropical trees. However, amidst this natural beauty, you will also encounter some kitschy decorations and theme park rides that add a unique twist to the experience.

Before enjoying a delightful lunch, we will take a moment to visit a local temple, immersing ourselves in the spiritual essence of the area. After lunch, a visit to a charming small tea factory awaits, offering insight into the local tea production process. As we make our way back, we will stop by the serene freshwater Lake Dami, providing a perfect conclusion to this enriching day.

Destination Information

Phan Thiet

Phan Thiet is a coastal city where the rhythm of daily life is closely tied to the sea and the surrounding natural landscape. Its shoreline is marked by a working fishing port, where boats unload the day’s catch amid the scent of salt and drying fish, reflecting a long-standing maritime tradition. Beyond the urban area, expansive sand dunes rise sharply from the flat coastal plain, creating a distinctive terrain that contrasts with the city’s more built-up zones. The nearby Po Shanu Cham Towers offer a glimpse into the region’s historical layers, standing as remnants of an ancient Cham civilization amid modern surroundings. Inland, Ta Cu Mountain provides a natural retreat with forested slopes and panoramic views, adding to the area’s varied topography. The production of local fish sauce remains an integral part of Phan Thiet’s economy and culture, connecting traditional craftsmanship with everyday life. Together, these elements shape a place where natural features, historical sites, and ongoing local industries coexist, giving Phan Thiet a grounded and tangible character within Vietnam’s southern coastline.

Dambri

Dambri is a destination defined by its natural landscape and the way local life intertwines with the surrounding environment. Nestled among rolling hills, the area is marked by dense pine forests that create a cool, shaded atmosphere contrasting with the warmer lowlands nearby. The presence of cascading waterfalls adds a dynamic element to the terrain, where water shapes both the scenery and local activities. Agricultural fields stretch across the outskirts, reflecting traditional farming practices that continue to sustain the community. The settlement itself maintains a quiet rhythm, with ethnic groups preserving distinct cultural customs that contribute to the social fabric. Elevated viewpoints accessible by cable car offer expansive views of the forested slopes and farmland, highlighting the relationship between human activity and natural features. This blend of forest, water, and cultivated land, alongside enduring local traditions, gives Dambri a character that is both rooted in its environment and shaped by the everyday lives of its inhabitants.
