Upon your arrival at Heho airport, you will be greeted and transferred to Nyaung Shwe. Once you reach Nyaung Shwe, embark on a private longtail boat to immerse yourself in the enchanting allure of Inle Lake. Spanning over 20 kilometers in length and more than 10 kilometers in width, the lake sits at an elevation of 875 meters above sea level, with its tranquil waters beautifully contrasting against the majestic high hills that form a stunning backdrop.
Your first stop will be Nga Phe Kyaung, a site renowned for its impressive collection of Buddha images crafted from various materials and presented in an array of styles and sizes. Following this, you will visit the revered Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the most sacred religious site in southern Shan State. Here, you will find five uniquely shaped and gilded Buddha images, which are traditionally paraded around the lake during the annual Inle Boat Procession held in September or October.
Next, you will transfer to Mine Thauk Bridge, where you can marvel at the unique village of Maing Thauk. This picturesque settlement is divided, with one half built on dry land and the other half perched on stilts over the water, connected to the shore by a 450-yard wooden bridge. Finally, your day will conclude with a transfer back to your hotel, reflecting on the day's memorable experiences.
