Your adventure begins at the Saigon WaterBus Station, where you will meet your guide for check-in at 08:45 AM. As the vibrant cityscape transforms into lush countryside, indulge in a light breakfast featuring Sugar Town cake, refreshing mineral water, and seasonal fruits. Throughout your ride, your guide will share captivating stories about the local communities and the historical significance of the region.
Arriving at the Cu Chi Tunnels at 10:15 AM, your visit commences with a short documentary film that introduces you to the construction and importance of this remarkable 200-kilometer-long underground network, which played a crucial role during the war. By 10:30 AM, your immersive exploration begins as you walk through the jungle, discovering traps, secret entrances, and underground hideouts that tell tales of resilience and ingenuity.
During your visit, you will also have the opportunity to see traditional rice-paper and rice-wine workshops. For those seeking a bit of adventure, there is an option to test your aim at the shooting range (additional costs apply, with bullets not included). Experience the tunnels firsthand by crawling through select sections, and sample green tea and boiled tapioca, once the staple food of the guerrillas during wartime.
At 12:45 PM, take a break to enjoy a traditional 7-course Vietnamese lunch set in a tranquil garden near the tunnels, allowing you to reflect on your experiences amidst nature. Following lunch, at 1:45 PM, board the speedboat once again for your return journey to Ho Chi Minh City. You will arrive back at the WaterBus Station by 3:00 PM, concluding your enriching tour.
